Glass, Tavener, Nyman - the highly anticipated new release from acclaimed classical Saxophonist Amy Dickson is available now from RCA Red Seal/Sony Music
Entertainment. The album reveals a new side to Amy's playing, exploring the endless possibilities of the Saxophone and enriching its blossoming repertoire through collaborations with some of the world's greatest living contemporary composers.

The album features soprano Saxophone transcriptions of the Violin Concerto by the Oscar nominated Philip Glass, The Protecting Veil by Ivor Novello winner John Tavener, as well as Where the Bee Dances by the Goldon Globe and BAFTA award winning Michael Nyman. Recorded at London's Cadogan Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and directed by Mikel Toms, it is an un-missable offering that is set to alter the perception of the Saxophone, marking its place firmly as a beautifully virtuosic classical instrument.

Glass, Tavener, Nyman follows Amy's critically acclaimed debut album Smile, released in 2008. The new recording sees Amy continue to redefine the Saxophone as a classical instrument through her choice of indisputably beautiful and innovative repertoire. Leading the way in her field, the incredibly talented Saxophonist has gained renown in all corners of the globe through 2009 and her new album will continue to cement her position as the worlds leading Saxophonist.

The stunningly beautiful and elegant artist has garnered support both in the classical world and beyond. Amy has signed deals with fashion giants Armani and premium skin care company REN who both recognise the beauty and talents of the Australian Saxophonist. Amy recently became an ambassador for charity The Prince's Trust, who are keen to use her talents and kind-hearted nature to assist the work they do.

Amy has won a string of international awards for her delicate and refined instrumentation, including the James Fairfax Australian Young Artist of the Year and the Prince's Prize. Royal Overseas League Competition.
